Forms New Team

Conn-Selmer has stirred up some internal organization changes to enhance its Ludwig/ Musser division in the percussion instrument marketplace.

General Manager Grant Henry will lead this newly formed team to provide closer relationships with instrument dealers and quickly respond to shifts in percussion industry trends.

Jim Catalano, in his position as director of sales and marketing, concert percussion, will focus on school and concert percussion sales and the marketing aspects of concert percussion, including mallet instruments, timpani, educational kits, marching equipment and concert drums.

Kevin Packard has joined the team as the new director of marketing, combo percussion. He comes to Ludwig from Ddrum where he served as division manager. Brandon Sims, a mechanical engineering major, has also come to Ludwig to serve as design engineer, percussion.

In combination with the other staff, Leslie Butts, national account manager, and Gary Devore, sales coordinator, the Ludwig/Musser team intends to increase its national presence and take command as an industry leader.
