MARCH 7 I KEYBOARD CONCEPTS I OPENING Keyboard Concepts opened a new piano superstore in Agoura Hills, Calif., on March 1, bringing the Southern California-based company’s total number of stores to five. Located at the brand-new Agoura Design Center, it’s surrounded by retailers like Ethan Allen, Berk’s Furniture and Bassett Furniture. In addition to pianos, the store features a large sheet music, software and accessory department. “Our approach combines superb customer service resulting in a high volume of sales, while also concentrating on premium pianos for teachers, advanced players and professionals,” said Dennis Hagerty, president of Keyboard Concepts. “The inventory of used, reconditioned and restored pianos, including Steinways, [is] second to none in Southern California.” “We are pleased to have Keyboard Concepts represent Yamaha in Southern California,” said Yamaha’s Paul Calvin. “We both share the same dedication to quality service and customer satisfaction.”
