FEB. 20 I SENSENENY MUSIC I APPOINTMENT
Supinie Named Senseney Music President, CEO

After enjoying a 30-year career as a music retailer, Denny Senseney will retire on March 31 as owner of Senseney Music. Lori Supinie will become the new owner of the Wichita, Kan.-based, full-line music retail company.

Senseney recently announced the promotion of Supinie as president of Senseney Music. The closing date for the sale of the corporation will be March 31, at which time Supinie will assume full ownership and take on her new role as chair and CEO of the 25,000-square-foot location.

According to Senseney, Supinie has played an important role in the growth of Senseney Music for the past 12 years, most recently serving as executive vice president, general manager and COO. She previously served as corporate controller and CFO. She received her MBA from Southern Illinois University and later earned her CPA designation. Supinie currently serves as vice president and secretary of the Retail Print Music Dealers Association.

“As I approach this event, I am confident of the abilities of Lori to continue to find ways to grow the music education marketplace in our region,” Senseney said. “Her passion for this industry, combined with her instincts for people, systems and service will certainly be rewarding to watch succeed.

“For me, I could not have imagined the wonderful experience building a service-oriented music education business turned out to be. Whatever success we enjoyed was because of the many dedicated, talented and loyal employees who came to work each day with the sole purpose of working together to improve our service to others. I owe much to many in this industry who I have had the privilege of working alongside, and whom I count as my best friends.”
