DEC. 11 I JJ BABBITT I APPOINTMENTS
Giglio Named jj Babbitt President

William Reglein recently turned over day-to-day operation of jj Babbitt, a third-generation family company, to 47-year music industry veteran Rocco Giglio. Reglein's new title will be owner and chairman, while Giglio assumes the responsibilities of president and chief operating officer.

"I'll still be involved on a regular basis," Reglein said. "I want to spend more time with my family and doing activities I have had no time to do."

Reglein joined jj Babbitt in 1967 after high school. During his 40 years of service, he worked in every manufacturing station from lathe to buffing and inspecting. He also worked in shipping, sales and design before moving into management and taking over the position of president for his father, Eugene Reglein, in 1999.

Rocco Giglio comes to the position of president after serving various management capacities, most recently as vice president of operations at jj Babbitt. Prior to joining the company, Giglio served tenures at Woodwind and Brasswind, Selmer's Bach Plant and UMI (formerly W.T. Armstrong). Giglio is also a professional musician with proficiency in flute, clarinet, saxophone and all woodwinds, including oboe and bassoon.

Other appointments at jj Babbitt include the promotion of plant manager Jim Green to the position of vice president of manufacturing, and controller Linda Nielsen will now serve as chief financial officer.
