SEPT. 7 | PMIL | ACQUISITION\ Premier Music International Limited (PMIL) has acquired the brand, business and certain assets of Premier Percussion Limited as part of a restructuring of that company. “Premier is one of the oldest and most famous names in the entire musical instrument industry,” said Nigel Sims, a joint shareholder in the new PMIL company. “Together, with my partner, Bill Speirs, we are excited to take complete control of the Premier brand and to continue working with the existing Premier management team as we build the business still further”. PMIL will build upon the strong recovery worldwide of the Premier brand with an increased emphasis on products and marketing. PMIL will accelerate Premier’s new product development, launch programs and continue expanding its Asian manufacturing resources. The PMIL management team includes all members of Premier’s existing management, and all key members of the sales, marketing, finance and sourcing departments will also be joining the new company.
